Do you know how big your carbon footprint is? No, I’m not talking about your shoe size, silly! I’m talking about your carbon footprint. It’s a term used to describe the way that the things you do everyday affects the environment. Your carbon footprint is measured by the amount of energy you use everyday, and also by the things you use or consume. The more energy you use… the bigger your carbon footprint. Think about how you get to school everyday, what you eat for lunch, or what you do for fun. All of these things have an affect on your carbon footprint. If you think you’re using too much energy, don’t worry! There are lots of simple steps you can take to reduce your carbon footprint, and conserve energy.
