Light Switch

One easy way to cut down on your family’s energy use is to switch your regular incandescent light bulb to compact fluorescent bulbs.  Commonly known as CFLs, compact fluorescents use up to 75% less energy than regular bulbs.  While they do cost more than standard bulbs, they also last up to ten times longer, so you’ll save a lot of money over the lifetime of the bulb.  One thing to note - CFLs contain a tiny amount of mercury, so you can’t just throw them away – they have to be recycled.
