Operations Support Analyst
Now this is a cool job. An Operation Support Analyst gets to use and analyze photos of forests taken from a satellite in space. It’s called a GIS system. And they use grown up toys like clinometers to measure the heights of trees, and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to find their way around the forests. In this segment Meagan got to try them all out and boy did she have a good time… not to mention, she learned a thing or two. So go along with her and discover for yourself why an Operation Support Analyst is so important to our forests… and hey, you might even discover that you’ll want to be one someday, too.
