School Forests

Believe it or not, School Forests have been around for a really long time. For over 75 years, students in Wisconsin have been learning about trees and forests by participating in reforestation programs. The oldest School Forest in Wisconsin is in Laona, which is in the northeastern part of the state. To date, there are over 300 School Forests throughout Wisconsin.
