KNOT TYING

• Hold the ends of two ropes in each hand

• Wrap the left-hand rope rover, behind, under, and then in front of the right hand rope

• Bring the ends of each rope up, so they’re even with each other

• Now wrap the right hand rope over, behind, under, and then in front of the left hand rope

• Grasp both ends with your thumb and forefinger and pull ends out to form the knot

Sheet Bend Knot
• Take the end of one rope (larger rope if using two different sizes) and bend it back along the standing part of the rope, forming a loop

• Hold the loop firmly in one hand

• Bring the end of the other rope up through the loop and around the back of the loop

• Then slip it under the section that came up through the loop

• Still holding the loop with one hand, grasp the standing part of the other rope, just below where it went up through the loop, and pull tight
