ITO
in its Sixth Season!
Madison – The Emmy award-winning children’s series,
Into the Outdoors, begins broadcasting its all-new sixth season of programming this year.
The show’s producers say viewers are in for some great new adventures!
This season of Into the Outdoors will feature the same kinds of exciting Wisconsin outdoor activities and fun facts that it has in the past, but viewers should be ready to join in on some all-new activities and fun-filled educational exploration! When you combine that kind of topical variety with colorful graphics and a snappy sound track, you’ve definitely got a show that’s fun for kids to watch. But the show’s producers are quick to point out that fun and education can coexist.
Into the Outdoors is a weekly “edutainment” television series, and is produced by the award-winning Discover Mediaworks Inc. in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The show first aired in January of 2001, and regularly features experts in science, biology, and environmental management.
Into the Outdoors is the creation of executive producers Mark C. Rose and Lisa Rose, and the Discover Mediaworks, Inc. staff. Additional funding is provided by Chevrolet and other sponsors.
Discover Mediaworks, Inc. is based in Eagle River, Wisconsin, with a brand new state-of-the-art production facility in Madison, WI.
