Discover Mediaworks marks 10 straight years of Emmy nominations!
EAGLE RIVER – Into the Outdoors, a popular children’s television program produced by Eagle River-based Discover Mediaworks, has won a Chicago/Midwest Emmy Award in the category of Excellence in Children’s Programming: Series. This marks the 10th straight year Into the Outdoors has been nominated for television’s highest honor and the 7th time the show has gone on to win the award.
“We’re thrilled and honored,” said Mark C. Rose, one of the show’s executive producers, when this year’s winners were announced Saturday evening at the gala awards ceremony in the Park West in Chicago, Illinois. “Into the Outdoors has been so well-received by kids, parents and teachers, and we’re proud of the way the program shows the next generation learning and enjoying great Wisconsin traditions such as land stewardship and outdoor recreation.”
Into the Outdoors is produced by Discover Mediaworks, a full-service production and integrated communications company with facilities in Eagle River and Madison. The show airs on television stations throughout Wisconsin and in neighboring states. Discover Mediaworks is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Mark C. Rose and Lisa A. Rose, who serve as executive producers of Into the Outdoors.
