the Outdoors
Mission Statement
The Mission of Into the Outdoors is to continue the outdoor legacy
of Wisconsin and introduce it to a new generation of users, creating a solid
foundation of stewards and conservationists that will appreciate our beautiful
resources. We do this by reaching kids of all ages with a television show, web-site,
educational print material, and outdoor events that are high-impact, entertaining,
innovative, challenging, and leave
no question of how much FUN it is to be
into the outdoors. We want to expand
your knowledge of the outdoors and compel you to get into the outdoors, seek
more fun, information and activity.
Our multi-media initiative is highlighted by a one-half hour TV series, which airs throughout Wisconsin,northern Minnesota, a section of Michigan's Upper Peninsula and Iowa. The Into the Outdoors TV Series will air at a consistent weekend time period in each of these markets all 52 weeks of the year. Into the Outdoors goes from adventure to adventure across Wisconsin. Joining a diverse group of kids and adultsat all locations, Into the Outdoors introduces fishing, camping, environmental concerns and outdoor safety-just to name a few topics.
