Adventure Team

Hi, my name is Jenna.

I’ve been involved with dance since the age of 3 with Madison Dance Academy of Deforest. When I turned five, I completed my first solo and duet at a local competition and placed GOLD.  Since then I’ve enjoyed performing.  When I was 3, I developed a craving for drama.  I continue to work with MadCap, CTM, and Lisa Pantano, a rofessional actress and musician. I have also has been taking piano lessons for three years.

When I turned six, I had my first modeling experience with Highsmith Company School and Library Catalog.  I’m currently on a Mini Dance Team and Production Dance Team with Madison Dance Academy of Deforest, which recently qualified all their dances for Nationals in Florida this summer.

This year, at the age of seven, I was given the opportunity to audition for a part in the popular kids’ show Into the Outdoors.  I earned a part and said, “This is a lot like dance.  You do it over and over until you get it exactly right."

In my spare time, I enjoy my friends, swimming, playing Star Wars Legos on the XBOX 360, taking part in school variety shows, and spending time with my family.

Question - Answer

Q:
What do you do for fun when you’re not shooting Into the Outdoors?

A: I enjoy dancing on my dance team and the competitions, drama, and playing with my friends and x-box.

Q: How do your friends and family feel about you being a host on Into the Outdoors?

A: The friends that know I’m on the show think it’s strange and joke with me about it. They also know it’s what I love doing.  My family is supportive and glad I’m having fun.

Q:
What is the best part about being on Into the Outdoors?  And the coolest thing you’ve ever gotten to do on a shoot?

A: It’s a lot of fun. So far the coolest thing I got to do was be in the log hauling truck.

Q: What did you learn about the shooting process of Into the Outdoors that you didn’t know before you did it the first… second… or third time?

A: That was my first TV shoot so everything was new and just fun for me.

Q: What kind of music do you listen to?  And do you listen to it between shots or locations on a shoot?

A: Mostly I listen to the music on Radio Disney, but my mom’s music is good too. It’s a little bit of pop, hip hop and rock-n-roll.

Q: What is a normal shoot for you like?  Do you stay in a hotel the night before or after?  Do you have to wear make-up or special clothes?  Who decides these things?  Do you hang out with the crew?  I have so many questions I don’t know where to start… tell me everything?

A: I’ve only been on one shoot so far…we stayed in a hotel over night. When we got there, the producer introduced me to everyone and then picked out what I was going to wear. The other cast member and I had to match each other. I got to hang out with the crew at breakfast and on breaks. I had a lot of fun with everyone and they made my first experience great.

Q: Is it hard to make up school work when you have to miss class for an Into the Outdoors shoot?  When do you make up the work?  And, would your parents still let you be a part of the ITO cast if your grades started to go down?

A: It’s not hard yet to make up school work. My teachers are understanding and let me do homework in study hall or I bring it home. If my grades went down, my parents probably would not let me to continue doing the activities I do.  I know it’s important to keep my grades up.

Q: Of all the Into the Outdoors episodes you’ve done, which one is your favorite?  Why?  Was the segment’s topic really interesting, or did you just have fun with the crew?

A: I’ve only done one segment so far and learned a lot about log hauling…the crew made me laugh sometimes and had fun with me.

Q: What is your favorite movie… and your favorite part, of course?

A: It’s a tie between Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean movie.  My favorite part of  “At Worlds End” is when Will and Elizabeth got married. I’ve seen Pirates of the Caribbean at Worlds End movie about 5 times already!

Q: If you could be ANYTHING in the world when you grow up, what would it be?  What’s so cool about it… and have you always wanted to be one?

A:
I always wanted to be an actress and movie star since I was can remember. I want to be an actress so I can play out different characters and make people happy.
